As DJ at Hopetoun House, we get to work in one of Scotland’s most spectacular settings. It’s the kind of venue that stops you in your tracks the first time you see it. Many call it Scotland’s finest stately home. The estate itself spans 6,500 acres on the banks of the Firth of Forth. The Adam Ballroom is, without question, one of the most impressive rooms we get to work in — high ceilings, ornate plasterwork, and a scale that suits large wedding parties beautifully. The acoustics do need a bit of care, though: the room is live and can turn reverberant at higher volumes, so system placement really matters here.
