As part of our all-day wedding package, we offer at least one wedding consultation before your big day. If you are not sure whether or not to have a meeting, do it anyway.
At your initial wedding planning meeting, you will meet with James for an initial consultation to discuss your thoughts on your wedding day. You will discuss general matters regarding timings, venue, other suppliers etc.
More detailed meetings can be conducted closer to your big day.

Meet Your DJ
Meet your DJ to explain your expectations and discuss how to move forward. Let’s make sure we both know we are a good match. At this point, it is better to get too much information than not enough.
Having a meeting makes all future communication easier and more personal. Even on the day of your wedding, knowing your DJ has a huge calming factor.
James will show you a demonstration of how to use your wedding planning website. It is very easy to use but it always helps to see how to use it. James also has a Youtube video you can use for guidance at any time.
This tool allows you to submit a variety of information. Probably the most important being your music choices for your day. However, you can enter as much detail as you wish, the more the merrier.
The meetings are part of the service to my all-day wedding clients. Of course I don’t want to be involved in never ending meetings but am happy to have two meetings. If you require more, I hope you understand that due to my increased costs, a further fee would need to be applied.
I am happy to meet at a mutually convenient venue or location. This can vary from your private dwelling, a hotel, your wedding venue, coffee shop, or any other place. I am sure neither of us would like to travel an excessive distance to meet so somewhere is the middle is always good.
If we are too far apart, or you are outside the UK, we can meet by telephone or online via Zoom.
Sometimes it can be a challenge to find a convenient time for us to meet but I am flexible and will try to fit in at a time to suit you. I often find my couples may work on different shifts or at some distance from home.
As a full-time wedding DJ, I can meet you at almost anytime between 8am and 9pm. I much prefer between 12 and 6 but will accommodate your requirements if at all possible. Also please note that my availability will also depend on whatever other events I am running on any particular day. Typically Fridays and Saturdays can’t be considered due to getting organised during the day, and performing in the evening.
What To Expect At Our Wedding Meeting
You can expect a friendly, informal meeting. I will advise on what we do and listen to what you would like me to do.
There will be no sales tactics used. We will simply discuss what it is you are looking for and agree a way to proceed. During our conversation, I may advise on an additional service which may be of use to you, based on that conversation.
After The Meeting
Hopefully you will be much better informed and comfortable with the choices you have made or about to make. I am always here and available to talk through any queries you may have so please do not hesitate to get back in touch.
You will find a list our my most asked questions on the FAQ page on this website. This will answer many of your questions but I am also happy to expand on those answers and apply them directly to your circumstances.
