Race Night at Dalgety Bay: Duloch Juniors FC 2014
We were delighted to host this race night at Dalgety Bay Bowling Club on 19 August 2023, in support of Duloch Juniors FC 2014. We set up the event to raise money for the team’s new kit and to help cover travel costs for away games.
Graham Connor, who we liaised with throughout, was great to deal with. He gave us all the information we needed in plenty of time to get ready for the event.
Digital Tote Ticketing
Using the race card Graham gave us, we created custom race visuals for the night. These let us display all the race details on the big screen for everyone to see, and made running the betting table straightforward. The volunteers selling betting tickets found the system easy to use, which kept ticket sales and payouts running smoothly. In addition, much of the setup ran automatically behind the scenes, which saved us time and reduced the risk of mistakes.
Race Night at Dalgety Bay: The Venue
We arrived at the venue in good time — about 10 minutes before the staff opened up. Dalgety Bay Bowling Club isn’t huge, but it has a modern feel, and the staff kept everything well organised. Around 40 people came along, which was just right for a fun race night and disco combo.

All the races went off without a hitch, so we raised a good amount of money for the club. Around the middle of the night, we tucked into a buffet — always a welcome treat.
Once the races finished, we packed up the race night gear. But the fun wasn’t over — we ran a really entertaining raffle with lots of great prizes, and the person leading it had a lively way with words that everyone enjoyed.
This race night at Dalgety Bay was a big success, and it gave the boys’ team a real boost with much-needed funds.
