James from Premier Disco also runs Premier SpeedQuizzing — open quiz nights at regular venues across Edinburgh, the Lothians and beyond. These are public events that anyone can come along to. If you’ve never experienced a SpeedQuiz before, you’ll be genuinely surprised — it’s a very different night from a traditional pub quiz.

What Is SpeedQuizzing?

SpeedQuizzing is a fast-paced, technology-driven quiz format where every player uses their own smartphone to answer questions in real time. There are no paper answer sheets, no waiting around and no cheating. Live leaderboards update after every round so you always know exactly where you stand. Questions use audio, video and graphics — not just text — making for a much more varied and entertaining night than a standard quiz.
