Giant Connect 4

1 15th May 2018 by James Veal

The Giant Connect 4 garden game is one of our most popular games available for your wedding day, corporate event, fundraiser, or another party.

Premier Disco Giant Connect 4 Garden Game

We all remember playing Connect 4 as a family, don’t we?

This is the very same game but on a BIG scale!

The game stands an impressive 1.1m tall and 1.25m wide.

This the most popular game we hire out.

Connect 4 is played by 2 players, or teams, and takes from 2-10 minutes per game.

This outdoor garden game is also suitable to play indoors.

The classic Connect 4 game, just BIGGER!

How To Play Our Connect 4 Garden Game

To win at connect 4 you must be the first player to get four of your coloured discs in a row either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. But watch out, your opponent is trying to do the same thing and will block your way.

Connect Four Game Rules

This is typically an outdoor game and should be set up on a level surface but this is also suitable to be played indoors. The player setting up should play first.

During the course of play, you and your opponent will alternate turns after making a move with a disc. The player who goes first typically has an advantage in the game, so to be fair, you should take turns going first

Gameplay

There are three ways to get four discs in a row in Connect Four: horizontally, vertically, and diagonally.

When it’s your turn to play in Connect Four, you take a disc and drop it down one of the slots at the top of the game. You will need to carefully consider where you drop your disc because your opponent will have a turn after you. They will try to block your efforts to get 4 in a row.

On your turn, try to imagine how your opponent will respond. Ask yourself what you would do next if it was your turn.

The Winner

The first player to get 4 discs in a row vertically, horizontally, or diagonally wins the game.
