Giant Ludo games
just like the good old fashioned board game, except much bigger.
The mat size is 3m x 3m with a giant die and playing pieces.
Our Giant ludo game can be a point of attraction at your next event.
Ludo is played with between 2-4 players and it takes about 20 minutes for someone to win.
What is included in the hire?
With the hire of Giant ludo we include a giant playing mat, a die, playing pieces and pegs to hold the playing mat in position.
What is the object of the game?
The object of the game is to get all four of your counter “home” first!
How to play.
Each player, in turn, throws the die, the one with the highest score goes first.
Play moves to the next player in a clockwise direction.
In order for any player to start playing they must throw a six just to get their first piece on the mat. Each player rolls once then passes on to the next player.
After you are off, on you next throws you move your piece, equal to the score on the die, in a clockwise direction. If you roll a six you can choose to add another piece to the board or to continue with the one you already have in play. When a six is rolled you then have another roll. If you throw three sixes in a row you can’t move your counter and play moves to the next player.
To get a piece home, you must throw exactly the correct amount.
If you land on a square already taken by another players piece then their piece is removed from the game and they will have to throw another six to get it back in play. You cannot have more than one of your pieces on any square at the same time.
The first player to get all four pieces home wins the game.
